Norah Friel

Norah Friel, CPA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Manager and Internal Accountant at the Saint Louis Chess Club since October 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting for three related non-profit organizations and implementing monthly financial close processes. Prior to this role, Norah held the position of Audit Senior Associate at Schmersahl Treloar & Co. from October 2013 to October 2017, where duties involved planning and executing financial and compliance audits for a diverse clientele, as well as preparing tax returns for various entities. Norah holds a Master of Accountancy with a Tax Concentration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Truman State University, along with an international study experience in economics and business from the University of Galway.
