Katherine Gaffney

Katherine Gaffney currently serves as the Director of Quality, Risk Management, & Performance Improvement at Saint Mary's Health Network since January 2024. Prior to this role, Katherine Gaffney was the Risk Management & Privacy Officer at Tahoe Forest Health System from August 2023 to January 2024 and held various positions at Baptist Health from January 2013 to August 2023, including Risk Manager, Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care Unit RN, Structural Heart Services Coordinator, and Cardiac Progressive Care RN. Katherine Gaffney has a strong foundation in patient care, quality management, and risk assessment, demonstrated through leadership as a Charge Nurse and mentoring new staff. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Nursing Leadership and a Bachelor's in Nursing Science from Jacksonville University, along with an Associate of Science degree from Indian River State College.
