Marc Schaffer

Marc Schaffer is a Professor of Economics and the Director of the Center for Business & Economic Analysis at St. Norbert College, a position held since August 2012. Prior to this role, Marc gained valuable experience as an Urban Leadership Fellow with The Urban Leaders Fellowship in June 2021 and served as a Graduate Assistant, Research Assistant, and Ph.D. Student at Western Michigan University from August 2008 to August 2012. Additionally, Marc completed a Graduate Internship at Fifth Third Asset Management from July 2010 to June 2011 and worked as a Regional Sales Associate at Claymore Securities from December 2006 to August 2008. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and MA in Applied Economics from Western Michigan University (2008-2012) and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Augustana College (2002-2006).
