Rasheedah Blackwood has gained diverse experience in community engagement and health education through internships and leadership roles. At Imani’s Village, Rasheedah worked as a Community Liaison Intern, connecting with community donors and aligning with the organization's mission. As an HBCU Campus Engagement Intern at NMDP, Rasheedah educated students about the importance of finding blood matches and organized recruitment events at Langston University. In the role of Campus Ambassador for Black Ladies in Public Health, Rasheedah promoted sexual health awareness within the African American female community through collaborative events. Additional experience includes participating in the Leadership DELTA Collegiate Cohort with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., serving as an Associate Underwriter Intern at MedPro Group, and working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Saint Simeon's Senior Community. Rasheedah is set to graduate from Langston University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration.
