Jessie Eilers

Jessie Stuhlmiller is an experienced professional in the field of plant pathology and genetics. Currently serving as an Assistant Pathologist at Sakata Seed America, Inc. since October 2018, Jessie collaborates on the implementation of pathogen resistance assays to aid in the development of disease-resistant vegetable varieties. Prior roles include Laboratory Manager at Summit Plant Labs, Inc., and Research Laboratory Manager at Michigan State University, where investigations focused on the genetic basis of adaptation in Arabidopsis thaliana. Jessie also has experience as a Research Assistant at Colorado State University, specializing in plasmid engineering and plant transformation techniques, and worked as Emergency Overhead Personnel for the National Park Service during wildfire incidents. Jessie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Colorado State University.
