Raaj Kanjilal

Raaj Kanjilal has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Raaj worked as an Online Lecturer for Management Studies at London Bridge Business Academy UK in 2020. Prior to that, they were the Head Of Human Resources & Sustainability at Sakshi, where they managed all HR admin and operation strategic decisions.

In 2018, Raaj worked as a Business & Brand Consultant, mentoring young entrepreneurs and helping start-ups build a brand. Raaj provided business consultancy, web and app development, learning and development, recruitment, digital marketing services, and design services.

From 2018 to 2020, Raaj was the Head Marketing Intelligence Consultant for Procure HR & Concat Business Consultancy and also worked as an Independent Business and Marketing Consultant. Raaj was responsible for heading marketing intelligence, website development, and lead business development.

Raaj also worked as the Head Marketing (Offline and Digital) and Internal Branding at Apeejay Stya University, where they developed marketing plans, managed promotions, and designed advertising campaigns. Raaj also served as a faculty member teaching marketing and management subjects.

Earlier in their career, Raaj held positions as the Head Digital Marketing Strategy and Client Servicing at Tiger Trails Corp.LTD, Head Account Management at Concept Weavers Ltd, and Snr Manager- Marketing and Product at Times Internet Limited.

Raaj started their career at Scholastic International, where they worked in marketing and sales, handling the UK division and managing sales and marketing for the US products in South America and Asia.

Raaj Kanjilal has a diverse education history. Raaj completed an MBA in Human Resource Management at Amity University from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma Certificate in Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations from MICA | The School of Ideas in 2008-2009. Raaj also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they completed a Foundation program in Business Studies at Oxford Brookes University in 2000-2001. Their earlier education includes a GCE qualification in Business and Commerce from the British Council Nigeria in 1999 and a GCSE from The British School, New Delhi in 1997-1998, focusing on Business Studies and Science. Raaj completed their schooling at Amity International School, Saket, with a focus on Commerce from 1995 to 1998. Lastly, they completed their Junior-Senior School education at the American International School of Lagos Nigeria from 1985 to 1995.
