Mateo Iglesias has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Mateo is currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Sakura Finetek Europe since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Agilent Technologies as the Associate Vice President for EMEAI - Pathology Commercial Operations from November 2014 to July 2021.
Mateo's previous positions include General Manager Europe and Country Manager roles at Dako between 2006 and 2014. Mateo was responsible for managing the Spanish subsidiary, leading the Iberian team, and implementing strategic plans for the Iberian subsidiary. Before joining Dako, Mateo held the position of Division Director at Jose Collado S.A. from April 2002 to June 2005, where they developed commercial management plans and implemented strategic business plans.
In addition, Mateo worked as the Commercial Director at Saniline from June 2001 to February 2002, where they focused on brand image and positioning in the hospital sector. Mateo also served as the National Sales Director at bioMerieux from June 1993 to May 2001, overseeing sales and marketing departments and ensuring compliance with company strategies. Finally, they began their career at Editecsa in 1989 in an administrative role.
Mateo Iglesias has a Master's degree in Marketing from EADA Business School, which they obtained from 1998 to 1999. Mateo also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from EAE Business School, completed from 2001 to 2002. Mateo Iglesias pursued an Executive Leadership Program at Copenhagen Business School CBS/Scandinavian International Management Institute SIMI, attending from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they participated in a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® program in 2015. Mateo Iglesias completed their initial higher education at Universitat de Barcelona, earning a Licenciado degree in Chemistry, graduating between 1986 and 1992.
