Amer Abuobeid

Amer AbuObeid is a seasoned professional in the logistics and cargo handling industry, currently serving as the President of Cargo Handling at SAL Saudi Logistics Services since January 2020, overseeing operations across all KSA airports. Prior to this role, Amer spent nearly two years as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Director of Global Commercial at Saudia Cargo, where responsibilities included developing and executing business plans aimed at market share growth and monitoring sales performance. Amer's career at Saudia Cargo also encompasses significant roles as Regional Director for Europe and Sales Director for the MENAT region, focusing on commercial activities and sales strategy implementation. Earlier experiences include positions at Saudi Arabian Airlines as Sales Director for Cargo and at DHL Express in various sales management roles. Amer holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yarmouk University, obtained in 1995.
