Jacob Truax

Jacob Truax, PE, currently serves as Senior Vice President at Salas O'Brien, a position held since January 2021, following an earlier role as Associate Vice President at the same company from July 2013 to February 2019. Prior to this, Jacob worked as an Electrical Engineer at URS Corporation and Pro2Serve, focusing on lighting and power systems for the Department of Energy and Los Alamos National Lab. Jacob's experience also includes designing power distribution systems at Kalmans Marshall Engineering. Jacob began a career in the electrical field as an Electrician Apprentice at Mr. Electric, Inc. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering & Power Engineering from Louisiana State University, earned between 2004 and 2010.
