Daniel Rix

Daniel Rix is an experienced athletic performance professional currently serving as the Women’s Head of Athletic Performance at Sale Sharks Rugby Club since August 2020. In this role, Daniel leads the development of strategic objectives to enhance athletic performance and integrates processes within medical and coaching practices. Prior to this position, Daniel worked at Loughborough Sport from September 2017 to April 2020 in various roles including Lead Women's Athletic Performance Coach and Sports Scientist for the Men’s Team. Daniel also served as the Lead Strength and Power Coach for Loughborough Cycling and as a Sports Scientist/Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Loughborough Lightning Rugby. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Sports Biomechanics and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science, both obtained from Loughborough University.
