Sudeep Taksali

Sudeep Taksali currently serves as a member of the Oregon Medical Board since November 2021, overseeing the regulation of medical practice in Oregon. As an orthopedic trauma surgeon at Hope Orthopedics of Oregon since January 2012, Sudeep holds a leadership role on the Board of Directors, focusing on business operations and strategy. Sudeep also functions as the Medical Director of Orthopedic Trauma at Salem Hospital, working on various process improvement projects. Prior experience includes serving as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kaiser Permanente from September 2007 to December 2011, where Sudeep co-chaired the Local Product Council and contributed to the Healthy Bones Osteoporosis Initiative. Sudeep completed an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Parkland Hospital in 2006 and an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital from 2001 to 2006. Sudeep earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College and holds dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Biology from Stanford University.
