In this role, Suzanne leads Salesforce’s stakeholder capitalism strategy—including the company’s global corporate relations and sustainability efforts, driving positive social and environmental impact through innovative initiatives and dynamic partnerships. She leads the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and reporting with a depth of focus on climate action programs on the global journey to net zero emissions. Through the Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund, she invests in nextgen, diverse cloud companies driving positive change across sustainability, education, equality and social sector technology solutions. She drives Salesforce’s workforce development efforts, with a focus on upskilling and hiring of the military community and other nontraditional talent.
Suzanne has worked at Salesforce for more than twenty years and was previously co-founder and president of the Salesforce Foundation and Salesforce.org. Under Suzanne’s leadership, Salesforce pioneered the 1-1-1 model of integrated corporate philanthropy, which dedicates 1% of Salesforce’s equity, employee time and product back into the community. More than 12,000 companies in 130 countries have joined Pledge 1%.
She serves on multiple councils for the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, has been named one of Inside Philanthropy’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Philanthropy, and is a member of the San Francisco Business Times’ Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business hall of fame. She currently serves as a board director and trustee at the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, and serves on the advisory boards of Classy, Inc., Twilio.org, Pledge 1%, and the DocuSign IMPACT Fund.
