Erika Kato, PhD, has a wide range of work experience in the field of research and analytics. Erika is currently working as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Salesloft since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Faculty Instructor for Research Methods & Statistics at California State University, Long Beach from January 2017 to December 2021, where they taught graduate-level courses and conducted workshops on quantitative research methods and data analysis tools.

Erika also has experience as a Project Director - Evaluative Research at the Center for Evaluation & Educational Effectiveness from January 2017 to June 2021. In this role, they managed and led mixed-methods research projects, collaborated with cross-functional partners, and supervised a team of researchers and consultants.

Erika Kato, PhD, completed their education at two institutions. Erika first attended Hawaii Pacific University from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics. Later, they pursued further studies at UC Santa Barbara, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods from 2010 to 2014. Finally, they completed their academic journey by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field of study from UC Santa Barbara, spanning from 2010 to 2015.
