John Karnes has over 20 years of experience in technology operations and management. John is currently the Director of Technical Operations at Salesloft, where they lead teams of engineers and oversees the performance and scalability of the production environment. Prior to this, they worked at Acoustic as the Director of Production Operations and Performance Engineering, where they managed a devops team and supported agile development processes. John also has experience as the Director of Operations and Delivery Services at Premiere Global Services, where they focused on email marketing and ISP relations. John has worked on various technical roles in companies such as Studiocom, Moxie Interactive, Macquarium, and Socketware. John has extensive experience in client management and providing strategic guidance, especially in the travel industry. John started their career as a Consultant at The Feld Group, specializing in IT transformations for Fortune 500 companies. John holds a strong background in technology, infrastructure, and IT governance.

John Karnes attended West Virginia University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
