Heegun Eom

Founder & CEO at Salezilla

Heegun Eom is the founder and CEO of Salezilla. Prior to this, they were the founder of Nishiogi Place and a research associate at Purdue University. Heegun has also worked as a freelance photographer and an intern at Hitachi-LG Data storage.

Eom has always been interested in technology and its potential to make people's lives better. After completing a degree in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, they worked for several years in the tech industry in South Korea. However, they eventually decided to move to the United States to pursue their MBA at Indiana University.

While at Indiana University, Eom became interested in the potential of bacteriophages to fight antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Heegun did some research on the topic and decided to start their own company, Nishiogi Place, to further explore this potential. Nishiogi Place was a research and development company that focused on bacteriophage research.

Unfortunately, Nishiogi Place was not successful and had to shut down after a few years. However, Eom's experience with the company gave their the idea for Salezilla. Salezilla is a platform that helps businesses find the best deals on products and services. The company has been quite successful and has helped many businesses save money.

Heegun Eom has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Multidisciplinary Engineering from Purdue University and a High School diploma from The American School in Japan.
