Sujit Jain has worked in the biotechnology industry since 2007. Sujit began their career as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they worked on the synthesis of conducting polymers nanostructures and the development of conducting polymers for surface finish applications in printed circuit board fabrication. In 2010, they became a Process Engineering Co-op at Bristol-Myers Squibb and a Process Engineer at Sanofi Genzyme, where they provided scientific support in the development, scale-up, optimization and operation of methods for the production, purification and testing of new process formulas, technologies and products. Sujit then worked as a Process Engineer at Lonza and a Scientist in Downstream Process Development at Merrimack. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Group Leader/Senior Engineer II in Downstream Process Development at Shire. Sujit is currently the Director of External Manufacturing at SalioGen Therapeutics.
Sujit Jain has a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Operations. Sujit is currently enrolled in MIT Sloan Executive Education's Interpersonal Communication: Strategies for Executives program. Sujit holds a BE in Chemical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology and Bioprocessing and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
