Josh Gilmour

Josh Gilmour has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Josh is currently working as a Senior Director of IT at Salsify since 2022. Before that, they held various roles at Brightcove. Josh worked as a Senior Director of IT Operations from 2019 to 2022, where their responsibilities included managing the IT team, supporting global offices, and maintaining vendor relationships. Prior to that, they served as a Director of IT Operations from 2016 to 2019, reporting to the CFO and overseeing additional staff. Josh was also a Principal Systems and Network Administrator from 2015 to 2016, where they worked on system and network infrastructure and served as an escalation point for the team. Josh started their career at Brightcove as a Network Administrator in 2011 and worked their way up through various roles, including Senior Systems and Network Administrator and Windows Systems & Network Administrator. Before joining Brightcove, they worked at Stanford Financial Group as an Information Security Co-Op, where they assisted with programming and security projects. Josh began their career as a Network/Security Intern at CONQWEST, where they gained experience in networking, security, web design, and programming.

Josh Gilmour's education history includes two main academic experiences. From 2003 to 2006, they attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, where they studied computer networking and information systems. Josh obtained a degree in this field during that time. Later, from 2008 to 2010, Josh attended Bellevue University, where they pursued a degree in BCIS (Bachelor of Computer Information Systems) with a specialization in computer networking.

In addition to their formal education, Josh Gilmour has also earned two certifications. In November 2017, they obtained the Certified Meraki Network Operator certification from Cisco Meraki. This certification likely signifies their expertise in operating and managing Cisco Meraki network solutions. More recently, in July 2023, Josh obtained the Automation Pro I Certificate from Workato. This certificate likely indicates their proficiency in utilizing Workato's automation platform.
