Romain Niveau

Romain Niveau has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Romain is currently working at Salsify as the Director of Engineering since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Engineering Manager from January 2021 to June 2022, and as the Engineering Manager from June 2019 to December 2020. Prior to Xebia, Romain worked at GROUPE ONEPOINT/Vision IT Group as an Ing\u00e9nieur d'\u00e9tude, tech leader, and chef de projet from September 2010 to December 2013. Romain also served as a Software Engineer and Tech Leader from March 2010 to September 2010, where they worked on projects involving Java, JEE, Spring, JSF, Richfaces, Maven, Hibernate, Webservice (Xfire), and Jboss.

Romain also has experience working at castelis as a Software Engineer from October 2009 to March 2010, where they worked on projects involving Java, JEE, JSP, Tomcat, Oracle, PHP5, Joomla 1.5, and MySQL. Prior to that, they worked at WEBStrategies as a Software Developer from October 2007 to October 2009, where they focused on web development using Joomla and created SEO tools using Java, JEE, Hibernate, GlassFish, JSF, and MySQL.

Furthermore, Romain founded their own company, Kalitic, in October 2006, where they worked as a Founder and Software Developer until it was sold to Brainsonic company in October 2008. Romain created a SEO CMS and developed SEO tools using webservices for various clients, including Brainsonic.

Romain's earliest work experience was at Ucatchit, where they worked as a Software Developer, focusing on the development of tracking services for websites, SEO tools, and the company's intranet.
