David Herrmann

David Herrmann is an experienced technology and public safety professional with a strong background in government innovation and emergency management. As the Business Systems Analyst Team Lead at Salt Lake City Corporation since January 2019, David focuses on technology and business process innovations. From January 2004 to January 2019, David served as the Director of Technology Services at Salt Lake City Fire Department, where responsibilities included implementing innovative public safety solutions and emergency communications, as well as qualitative data analytics. Additionally, David held the position of Director of Communications, emphasizing crisis communication and employee development within the 911 dispatch system. Earlier in David's career, from January 2000 to January 2004, David was the Emergency Manager for Salt Lake City International Airport, responsible for developing and practicing disaster mitigation, response, and recovery strategies.
