Dr. Wilfried Jaworek

Dr. Wilfried Jaworek has extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical and manufacturing industry. Dr. Wilfried started their career at TMD Friction in 1992, where they served as the Head of Product Development and the Chemistry and Material Laboratory until 1998. Dr. Wilfried then joined Bayer and held multiple positions, including Production Manager, Market Area Manager for Pharmaceuticals, and Global Team Leader for Market Development. In 2005, they moved to LANXESS, where they worked as a Global Team Leader for Market Development. Since 2006, Dr. Jaworek has been with Saltigo, a subsidiary of LANXESS, where they have held several key roles, including Group Leader for Marketing and Sales, Project Leader for Manufacturing Strategy, and Head of Procurement for Technical Goods, Services, and Outsourcing. Currently, they serve as the Head of Production Strategy at Saltigo, responsible for developing and implementing strategies related to procurement and production projects. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in project management, procurement, and production strategy.

Dr. Wilfried Jaworek completed their education in the field of Organic Chemistry. Dr. Wilfried obtained their doctoral degree, known as Promotions, from The University of Bonn, where they studied from 1982 to 1990. Following this, Dr. Jaworek pursued a Postdoktorat degree at ETH Zürich from 1990 to 1992, focusing on the same field. In 2013, they furthered their education by obtaining a degree in Betriebswirtschaft (Business Chemistry) as a Geprüfter Wirtschaftschemiker from Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker e.V.
