Ajay Shetty

Ajay Shetty has worked in the financial services industry since 2004. Ajay began their career at Morgan Stanley as an Associate, where they were responsible for integrating trading strategies and DMA access to the trading desks. In 2006, they moved to Merrill Lynch as a Vice President and Portfolio Trader, where they pitched current capabilities of strategies offered and advised clients using TCA reports on their strategy usage, performance and offer advice on how best to use these strategies in line with their execution style. In 2011, they joined Daiwa Capital Markets as Director, where they set up the electronic trading platform and headed the ET Sales and Trading desk for India. Ajay also helped improve the current IT infrastructure and coordinate with IT to help roll out the entire future tech infrastructure. In the same year, they joined ABS VINTNERS PRIVATE LIMITED as Chief Executive Officer. In 2019, they moved to Grover Zampa Vineyards as Chief Lifestyle Officer, where their roles included helping move the company and brand from a multi brand wine company to a lifestyle company, initiating and creating new brands, and initiating and creating F&B ideas to create ancillary business for the wineries. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Salud Beverages Pvt. Ltd.

Ajay Shetty began their educational journey in 1995 at St. Josephs Boys High School in Bangalore. Ajay then attended Christ University in Bangalore from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. From 2001 to 2003, they attended New York Institute of Technology. In 2003, they began their Master's Degree in Computer Science and MIS at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2004.
