Job description

The Customer Operations Representative facilitates the order processing and shipment of goods to satisfy customer orders submitted by internal and external customers. Besides English, you either speak Dutch or German fluently.

Your responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • You work closely with field, clinical and sales staff to ensure accurate order processing, shipping, and invoicing to meet customer expectations.
  • You co-ordinate, monitor, and track all transfers of items and products between Saluda warehouse and customer and/or field staff locations.
  • You co-ordinate and regularly monitor trunk stock levels for usage, short expiry stock and inventory cycle counts.
  • You are responsible for ERP data set-up, e.g. Customer data, Pricelists.

Logistics:

  • You process shipments out of the warehouse based on orders

  • You make sure receipting, storing, and dispatching of stock and orders is accurate, following good documentation practices

  • You ensure all dispatches and transfers are packaged safely, securely, and clearly marked for correct delivery in compliance with destination market requirements.

  • You partipate in wall-to-wall stock takes and cycle counts.

Supply Chain:

  • You work closely with Head Office supply chain to ensure smooth movement between Saluda locations and maintenance of appropriate stock levels.
  • Where applicable you are responsible for customer stock tracking (what is on shelf at hospitals)

General:

  • You assist in general office or facilities management.

  • You look for and drive process improvement opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft applications and MRP/ERP software.
  • Experience with order processing and shipments.
  • Experience with and commitment to working in a QA controlled environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local market language.
  • Required Competencies: Accurate, Teamwork, Initiative, Organized and Responsible.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.

  • Experience with working in a QMS/GMP controlled environment.

  • Written and verbal communication skills in multiple European languages.
