The Role:

Implement strategic initiatives and various educational programs, training programs, proctoring, and tools that support physician and allied healthcare professional education and training.  Work collaboratively with internal cross functional partners (compliance, legal, marketing, sales, R&D, medical affairs, and scientific affairs) and HCPs (faculty, proctors and speakers) to execute educational/training events through the appropriate processes, ensuring high standards are met for the education/training content and compliance. Interact directly with the Neuromodulation executive leadership team to ensure professional education is executed according to the strategic plan and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute professional education programs in various formats and across multiple audiences (Physicians, APP, Fellows, etc.)
  • Strategizing on local and national programs and society meetings, helping to align the faculty KOL based on specific educational needs
  • Partner with commercial leadership to identify and to prioritize key training/educational needs
  • Influence program agendas and support content development
  • Bring deliverables from marketing to the end user at all events in relation to our plan of action
  • Work with KOLs and field reps to gather experience, knowledge and case studies around portfolio
  • Ensure that post-training results meet organizational targets and expectations by developing, collecting and analyzing post-training data across various programs
  • Establish strong collaborative relations with internal cross-functional partners (sales, Medical Affairs, compliance, legal, regulatory, clinical, marketing, and R&D) to reinforce and align educational objectives through various training and education events
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, with attention to HCP Global Compliance guidance
  • Manage and track budgets
  • Meeting planning, organization and logistics
  • Set up and manage event registrations and post-event activities (i.e. reports on eval forms, expenses, attendance, field feedback, etc.)

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • 3+ years in medical device, biotech or pharma in Education, Training, Sales or Marketing
  • Able to work flexible hours including 50% travel on weekends and weekdays

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization and project management skills
  • Experience working in a self-directed environment
  • Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and make accurate decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of adult learning principals
  • Expertise in PowerPoint and/or other educational tools
