Giles Nugent

Giles Nugent has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Giles is currently a Board Member at Data Lake Shore since January 2022. Prior to their current role, they held several key positions including Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at SALUSION starting from December 2019, and Head of Board of Advisors at SummerTech from January 2020 onwards. Giles also served as a Mentor, Advisor, and past member of the Board of Directors at WingsforGrowth from September 2019.

Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Giles worked at PIMCO as an Executive Vice President from July 2011 to May 2018. Giles also had a successful career at Bank of America, where they held the position of Managing Director. During their time at Bank of America, Giles managed the Global Structured Products Technology division, overseeing a significant budget and a substantial number of resources. Giles was a key member of the Global Markets Technology leadership team and played an instrumental role in the growth of the technology team.

Prior to their tenure at Bank of America, Giles worked at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President, where they managed the Mortgage Analytics Group and supported the Mortgage Backed Securities trading desk. Giles also led a technology team supporting the Whole Loan and Principal Finance businesses. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Giles held the position of Vice President at Salomon Brothers.

In addition to their professional career, Giles pursued their hobby as a Sole Proprietor at Eamonn and Ian llc. Giles developed iPhone applications, including a Bridge Game and logic puzzle games.

Giles Nugent attended Cardinal Gibbons High School from 1977 to 1980. Giles then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 1984. Following this, they enrolled at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, where they obtained their MBA degree with a focus on Finance, completing their studies in 1989.
