Benjamin Glahn has extensive work experience in various roles within the Salzburg Global Seminar organization. Benjamin started in 2000 as a Program Associate at Salzburg Seminar before moving on to become the Deputy Chief Program Officer and Program Director in 2006. In this position, they worked on developing international policy programs and managing staff across multiple offices. In 2013, Glahn joined the Aga Khan Foundation United Kingdom as a Senior Programme Officer, where they were responsible for resource mobilization, program development, and engagement with key donors. Benjamin returned to Salzburg Global Seminar in 2015 as the European Development Director, responsible for partnership development, resource mobilization, and long-range planning. Currently, they serve as the Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Salzburg Global Seminar, overseeing resource mobilization, business operations, and human resources.
Benjamin Glahn obtained their Bachelor's degree from Middlebury College between 1995 and 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree at the University of Washington from 2004 to 2006. However, the field of study for both degrees is not provided.
