Thomas Koll

Thomas Koll has extensive experience in the field of metallic coatings and surface finishing. Currently serving as Abteilungsleiter Metallische Überzüge at Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung GmbH since April 2002, Thomas previously worked as an Expert in Surface Finishing & Coating for Steel at the European Commission from 2004 until December 2022. Prior to that, Thomas held the position of Betriebsingenieur Metallische Überzüge at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH from April 1998 to March 2002 and briefly worked as Project Manager for HDG Coatings at Steel Dynamics, Inc. in 2000. Thomas Koll earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physics from Ruhr University Bochum.
