Paola Besio Cavajani

Paola Besio Cavajani is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and advisory roles. Currently serving as Jefa financiera at SAMAN since August 2022, Paola has also worked independently as Asesora financiera since December 2010, providing project advice under Uruguay's Investment Promotion Law. Previous roles include Gerente de finanzas at Ta-Ta S.A. from February 2005 to February 2022, where Paola led the finance team and controlled the annual budget, and earlier positions including Jefe de Control de Gestión and Jefe de Planeamiento y Control Presupuestal at the same company. Paola began a career in auditing at KPMG Uruguay, completing various audits for national and international companies from October 2000 to February 2005. Educational qualifications include a degree in Contador Público from Universidad de la República and a postgraduate degree in Finanzas from Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga'.
