Michael Miller

Michael Miller is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and editing. Currently serving as Newsletter Editor and Senior Communications Specialist at Samaritan Ministries International since July 2008, Michael oversees the editing of the organization's Christian Health Care Newsletter, manages press releases, maintains the in-house style guide, and develops social media strategies. Previously, at Bradley University from August 2007 to December 2008, Michael taught an introductory journalism course, guiding students in public writing. Michael's earlier career at Peoria Journal Star spanned nearly three decades, where roles included religion editor, beat writer, and copy editor, focusing on the Faith & Values section. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism from Bradley University, earned in May 1980, and attended Spalding Institute from 1972 to 1976.
