Emily W Chang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and investment management. Currently serving as the Chief Strategy and Investment Officer at Samarkand Global since September 2018, Emily has been instrumental in connecting Western brands with the Chinese eCommerce market. Prior to this role, Emily founded and led Beautegrity as CEO from July 2015 to September 2018, and held various positions in investment and equity research at firms including Hamon Investment Group, BlackShip Capital, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, and Citigroup. Emily's education includes a B.S. in Finance from National Taiwan University, and executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School.
