Alexandra Oines, M.S.

Alexandra Oines, M.S. has extensive work experience in various scientific and educational roles. Alexandra is currently working at Samba Scientific as a Project Manager and Team Lead for Project Management. Prior to this, they worked as a Biology Instructor at Winona State University. Alexandra also served as a Graduate Student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where they received their M.S. in Biology with a concentration in Environmental Science. During their time there, they conducted thesis research on the fate of canopy gaps within floodplain forests. Before that, they worked as an Independent Living Skills Worker at Residential Services of NE MN. Alexandra gained experience in leadership and research during their time at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, where they worked as a Superior Adventures Climbing Wall Attendant & Trip Leader and as a Microbiology Laboratory Research Assistant. Alexandra also interned at the Great Lakes Aquarium as an Animal Husbandry Intern and Sturgeon Touch Tank Attendant. Additionally, Alexandra served as a Watercraft Inspector Intern at the Wisconsin DNR / Clean Boats Clean Waters.

Alexandra Oines, M.S. completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology, General from the University of Wisconsin-Superior from 2013 to 2017. Alexandra then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Biology at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their academic achievements, Alexandra has obtained various certifications including "Human Resources: Protecting Confidentiality" from LinkedIn in May 2023, and certifications in Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Digital Marketing, HubSpot Marketing Software, and SEO from HubSpot Academy between November 2021 and February 2022.
