Kuan Zhou

Kuan Zhou is a Principal Engineer in Machine Learning at SambaNova Systems since April 2020, previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer in the same field. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Petuum, Inc., and a Research Assistant position at the University of California, Riverside, where Kuan Zhou also worked as a Teaching Assistant. In 2018, Kuan Zhou participated in the Insight Data Science program as an Artificial Intelligence Fellow, contributing to the development of an interactive HTML website from hand-drawn sketches and enhancing an image captioning model. Kuan Zhou holds a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of California, Riverside and a BS in Physical Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China.
