Sylvia Morrissey

Sylvia Morrissey has a diverse range of work experience. Sylvia is currently working as the North America Lead at samdesk starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Policy Advisor: Policing at the UK Home Office from February 2020 to January 2022. Sylvia also worked as a Deployments Manager: Multilateral Missions at the UK Government's Stabilisation Unit from April 2018 to March 2020. Earlier in their career, they served as an Intelligence Officer at the UK Government from March 2016 to March 2018. Sylvia also worked as an Entry Clearance Officer at the British Embassy Beijing for a brief period from April 2015 to September 2015. Additionally, Sylvia has experience working as a Security Liaison Officer at The Royal Household from December 2012 to May 2014.

Sylvia Morrissey has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Lincoln. Sylvia also holds a Master of Science degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist from CFPAB in September 2017.
