Alex Newberg

Alex Newberg, ASA, currently serves as an Actuarial Associate at Sammons Financial Group Companies since January 2022, focusing on FIA AXIS model development. Prior experience includes a role as an Actuarial Analyst at Transamerica from January 2020 to February 2022, where development of AXIS models for Traditional Life, VUL, and VLI products was a primary responsibility. Alex also gained valuable experience as an Actuarial Intern at Transamerica during two separate periods, contributing to fixed annuities from May to August 2019 and participating in actuarial work from March to September 2018. Alex completed a degree at the University of Iowa, attending from 2016 to 2020.
