Courtney Jacobson Falu

Courtney Jacobson FALU, ALMI, ACS has extensive work experience in underwriting and underwriting operations. Courtney has held various roles at Sammons Financial Group Companies, including AVP, Associate Chief Underwriter & Underwriting Operations, where they are currently responsible for leading underwriting teams and refining the service model. Prior to this, they served as Associate Vice President and AVP in underwriting operations at the same company. Before joining Sammons Financial Group Companies, Courtney worked at Midland National Life Insurance Company, progressing from Underwriter to Director, Associate Chief Underwriter. In their roles at Midland National Life Insurance Company, they provided guidance to underwriters, evaluated life insurance applications, and supported administrative staff. Courtney also played a key role in communication with agents and providers to facilitate the application and policy issue process.

Courtney Jacobson FALU, ALMI, ACS earned a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of South Dakota. Courtney successfully completed their studies from 2002 to 2006.
