Gianluca Frasso

Gianluca Frasso has extensive work experience in various research and data analysis roles. Gianluca started their career at Università degli studi di Napoli in 2010, where they completed their PhD in Mathematics for Economics and Finance. After that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in applied statistics at Université de Liège (ULg) from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Gianluca joined Université catholique de Louvain as a Postdoctoral Researcher in applied statistics for a brief period of three months. Gianluca then returned to Université de Liège (ULg) and worked as an Assistant Research Scientist (Collaborateur scientifique additionnel) from 2016 to 2021.

From 2016 to 2021, Gianluca also held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Features Analytics. During this time, they gained valuable experience in leading data analysis projects. Gianluca then joined Wageningen University & Research as a Food Safety Data Scientist in November 2021.

Currently, Gianluca is working at Samotics as a Lead Energy Efficiency Analyst, starting in January 2023.

Gianluca Frasso has a Bachelor's degree in Financial institutions from the University of Naples, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, completing it from 2008 to 2009. In the same year 2008, they also completed a Master's program in Advanced Finance from the Master in finanza avanzata at IPE-Napoli.
