Dmitry Anisimov

Dmitry Anisimov is an experienced geometry engineer with a strong background in geometry processing algorithms and point cloud processing. Currently employed at Samp since December 2022, Dmitry develops advanced algorithms for large-scale point cloud processing. Previously, at Zenly from December 2021 to February 2023, Dmitry contributed to the core aspects of the app's 3D map engine. Dmitry's earlier roles include positions at GeometryFactory, where algorithm research and development for nearly three years led to contributions to the Computational Geometry Algorithms Library (CGAL), and at Inria, focusing on automated 3D urban reconstruction from point clouds. Dmitry also has experience as a teaching assistant and software developer during academic studies, with a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Informatics from USI Università della Svizzera italiana and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University.
