Waqas Aslam

Waqas Aslam is a highly experienced Chemical Engineer with a diverse professional background in process engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Samsara Eco since January 2023, Waqas focuses on developing innovative technologies for plastics and textiles waste recycling. Previous experience includes a role as Process Engineer at Licella from October 2020 to January 2023, where responsibilities encompassed developing process flow diagrams and project schedules. Waqas also contributed to gas to liquid conversion technologies at The University of Queensland during the doctoral studies, and held positions as Process Engineer and Research Assistant at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. Earlier roles included Operations Engineer positions at Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, involving monitoring plant performance and natural gas processing. Waqas holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland, an MS from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and a B.Sc from the University of the Punjab.
