James Taylor

James is an expert biochemist with detailed knowledge of protein chemistry and high-throughput assay development. After a PhD at the John Innes Institute during which he developed high-throughput assays, he undertook postdocs at the University of Bristol and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda USA developing capabilities to study DNA-binding proteins including TIRF microscopy. He refined his knowledge of high-throughput drug discovery and autophagy at Oxford University in the Drug Discovery Institute before joining Samsara.
