Joan Szkutak

Joan Szkutak is an accomplished business leader and strategist with extensive experience in innovation and new business development. As the Business Owner of SAMsARA Wine Co. since August 2017, Joan oversees a boutique winery specializing in Santa Barbara County wines. In addition, as an Innovation and New Business Development Strategist at JB Szkutak Consulting, LLC since January 2014, Joan has played a key role in driving growth through innovative strategies and executive coaching. Joan has served on the Board of Trustees and as Chair of the University Advancement Committee at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since 2011, and previously contributed as a Senior Consultant at the Cincinnati Consulting Consortium from 2014 to 2019. Joan's prior experience includes a distinguished 33-year career at Procter & Gamble, where roles ranged from Scientist to R&D Global Research and Development Executive. Joan holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Marketing from Xavier University.
