Dana Foster Chery has an extensive work experience, starting in 2006 with GE Capital, where they led a global team and designed the market intelligence portal. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at NBC Universal as part of the CNBC Media Sales Marketing team, spearheading viewer research and segmentation initiatives. In 2011, they briefly worked in product marketing at Salesforce before joining Cars.com in 2012, where they led sales automation initiatives. In 2014, Dana returned to Salesforce and took on various roles, including Senior Manager, Director, and Senior Director of Product Marketing. They were responsible for leading product marketing teams and driving growth for the Service Cloud portfolio. In 2020, Dana became a board member at GreatSchools.org. Their most recent position was at Samsara, where they held the title of Vice President of Product Marketing and later Vice President of Marketing.
Dana Foster Chery obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tufts University. Following this, they pursued further education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they completed their MBA with a focus on Marketing, Management & Organizations, and Entrepreneurship. Dana also holds a certification in Business Value of Equality from Salesforce Trailhead.
