Eyal Ben-Assa

Eyal Ben-Assa currently serves as the Director of Interventional Cardiology and the Director of the Structural Heart Disease program at Samson Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital since July 2020. Additionally, Ben-Assa is a Research Associate at the Harvard-MIT Biomedical Engineering Center since July 2015. Previous roles include Senior Physician in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease at Tel Aviv Medical Center and various fellow and research positions at esteemed institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a Postdoctoral research degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science focused on animals and genetics, and an MBA in Healthcare Innovation from Reichman University.
