Thomas Chu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Thomas started their career at Millipore Corporation as a Process Engineer from 1999 to 2000. Thomas then worked at Collagenesis Inc. as a Process Development Engineer for ten months in 2001. Following that, they joined Biopure Corporation as a Validation Engineer II, where they worked on various validation projects and gained expertise in equipment and cleaning validation from 2002 to 2004. Thomas then moved to \ud654\uc774\uc790 as a Validation Engineer III, where they represented the Technology group and worked on the Qualification of new Stability/Retention Area. Thomas joined Eli Lilly and Company in 2007 as a Sr Engineer in Validation Technical Services, managing validation projects and leading contractors. Finally, they joined Samsung BioLogics in 2013 in a managerial role, progressing to roles such as Sr. Manager, Validation Team and Lead Quality Engineering (QA) (Sr. Manager), before assuming the position of Lead Information Systems & Facility Quality / Site Quality (Director) from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, they took on the position of Lead CSV and Automation Validation Quality (Director) at Samsung BioLogics. Thomas Chu earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1999. Thomas also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers from LinkedIn in 2020, and a Leadership Development Program Certificate of Completion from Eli Lilly and Company in 2012. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) - MENA in 2009 and a NJPQCA Quality Certificate from the New Jersey Pharmaceutical Quality Control Association in 2007. Furthermore, Thomas obtained a Certificate in DOE and SPC from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in 1999.
