Gianna Pineda

Gianna Pineda is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in leading data-driven projects and teams. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist (Staff Engineer) at Samsung Electronics since September 2024, Gianna previously held key positions at the Bank of the Philippine Islands from May 2019 to September 2024, including Head of Data Strategy and Data Science Manager, where responsibilities included guiding data analytics initiatives to shape business strategies and mentoring a team of analysts. Earlier roles included Data Scientist (Assistant Manager) and Data Science Trainee, contributing to various analytics studies within the organization. Gianna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, earned between 2013 and 2018.
