Matic Blaznik

Matic Blaznik is an experienced electrical simulation engineer currently employed at Samsung SDI Battery Systems GmbH since February 2018, specializing in coupled electrical and thermal simulation of battery systems for electric and hybrid vehicles. Prior to this role, Matic worked at ANDRITZ HYDRO as a turbogenerator engineer, focusing on electromagnetic calculations and the design of electrical machines, and also gained early experience as an intern in the same company. Matic's academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Univerza v Mariboru, complemented by roles as a student research assistant during studies.
