Michael Pusterhofer

Michael Pusterhofer is an experienced Test Engineer at Samsung SDI Battery Systems GmbH since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michael contributed to research and development at ams AG as a PhD Mitarbeiter, focusing on strain fields within oxide-confined infrared VCSELs and completing a PhD thesis. Michael's career began at Technische Universität Graz as a Studentischer Mitarbeiter, developing a Java-based learning platform for Matlab, and included various software development positions at GUEP Software GmbH, Antje Schuett Unternehmensberatung, mbo consulting & research gmbh, and Kristl, Seibt & Co GesmbH. Michael began their technical education at Höhere technische Bundeslehr- und Versuchsanstalt Graz-Gösting, culminating in a Doctor of Technical Science in Technische Physik from Technische Universität Graz, with degrees earned in the same field at the Bachelor's and Diplom-Ingenieur levels.
