Hyunchul Kim

Hyunchul (Martin) Kim is a Senior Manager at Samsung SDI America Inc., currently serving as a Battery Specialist in the Battery Technology Center in San Jose since March 2023, following a similar role in Auburn Hills from March 2020 to February 2023. Prior to joining Samsung, Hyunchul worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab from March 2018 to February 2020, focusing on advanced electrode materials and employing synchrotron radiation-based X-ray techniques for cation-based battery systems. Hyunchul holds a Ph.D. in Energy Science from Sungkyunkwan University and a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Materials Science from Kookmin University.
