Carrie Edmond

Carrie Edmond is a seasoned professional in the field of education and counseling with extensive experience in student leadership and well-being. Currently serving in NEISD since August 2018, Carrie has also been a Certified Mindfulness Instructor and owner of ONE Mindful Maven since May 2016, where educational consulting is a key focus. Carrie's role as a Guest Instructor at the San Antonio Botanical Garden began in February 2017, complementing a background as a School Counselor at NEISD from June 2013 to June 2018 and as an Elementary School Counselor with Judson ISD from August 2003 to June 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio and specialized mindfulness training from Mindful Schools and Harvard Graduate School of Education.
