Abigail Moore is a dedicated nonprofit leader with extensive experience in the prevention and recovery of substance use disorders. As the Chief Executive Officer of the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness since August 2005, Abigail has successfully guided the organization to a $5 million budget and a team of 53 employees, expanding services to 28 counties. Previously, as Senior Director, Abigail provided drug and alcohol education to various community sectors, including businesses and faith-based organizations. Earlier, Abigail served as Program Coordinator at the Good Samaritan Center, supervising a program aimed at counseling and life skills training for at-risk youth. Abigail holds a Master's degree in Community Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development Family Studies with a focus on Substance Abuse from Texas Tech University.
