Lauren Deal

Lauren Deal is an experienced philanthropic leader currently serving as the Director of Philanthropy at the San Antonio Food Bank since September 2018. In this role, Lauren builds relationships within the interfaith community across a 29-county service area and previously coordinated engagement with restaurants and the service industry as the Restaurant Engagement Coordinator. Prior to joining the San Antonio Food Bank, Lauren held multiple positions at LOCAL COFFEE (Merit Coffee) over five years, including roles as a barista, store trainer, and assistant store manager, ultimately establishing the Community Engagement position. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Presbyterian College and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
