Karen Ortega

Karen Ortega is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in project management and environmental regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Jefe de Medio Ambiente at San Antonio Terminal Internacional S.A. since July 2022, Karen previously held the position of Coordinador de Permisos Ambientales en Falabella Infraestructura at Falabella Inmobiliario from December 2020 to August 2022. Additional experience includes roles such as Jefe de proyectos at WSP en Chile and SGA S.A., as well as Coordinadora Ambiental y Participación Ciudadana at SGS. Karen began their career as an Evaluador SEA with the Servicio de Evaluación Ambiental. Karen holds a Licenciatura en Geografía, con Mención en Geógrafo from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and further education from Universidad de Chile.
